Atheneum betekenis grieks

Het atheneum is één van de drie schooltypen van het voorbereidend wetenschappelijk onderwijs (vwo) voor leerlingen van jaar. Er wordt op het atheneum geen Grieks en Latijn gegeven. Andere schooltypen in het vwo zijn het gymnasium en het lyceum. Het atheneum (vernoemd naar het door keizer Hadrianus in Rome gestichte Athenaeum) is in Nederland een vorm van voortgezet onderwijs (voor tot jarigen). De zesjarige opleiding is een vorm van voorbereidend wetenschappelijk onderwijs (vwo) zonder de klassieke talen Grieks en Latijn. Griekse oorsprong

Sinds de tijd van de klassieken is de taal geschreven in het Griekse alfabet, dat 24 letters omvat. Attisch Grieks was de taal die gesproken werd in Athene. De meerderheid van de literatuur die uit de klassieke periode nog bewaard is gebleven, is in dit dialect geschreven. Het Griekse volk deed zijn koning met bloemen uitgeleide. Franse troepen rukten Athene binnen, Venízelos keerde naar zijn land terug en verklaarde Duitsland de oorlog. Intussen was Konstantijns tweede zoon als Alexander I () koning geworden; hij was getrouwd met Aspasia Manos, de beeldschone dochter van een rijke Atheense burger. Griekse oorsprong Het Griekse alfabet, met zijn oorsprong in de 8e eeuw , heeft een rijke geschiedenis en een voortdurende evolutie doorgemaakt van het Oudgrieks tot het Nieuwgrieks. Door de aanpassingen in letters, uitspraak en grammatica blijft het een levend onderdeel van de Griekse taal en cultuur.
